January News
January started the same way December finished, busy, with new children and families join us here at the nursery.
This month the theme of the nursery has been winter, which is quite appropriate considering the cold weather recently. The children have been busy making lots of art work that represents winter.
The children have also been using their investigatory skills and looking at the effects of ice. They have been looking at the different texture of ice and also how is ice formed.
Our book of the Month
This month, the children have been reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The children have been munching their way through the book and even making their own caterpillars.
Keep an eye out for February’s book of the month.
