This month started off with the children taking part in Peppa Pigs muddy puddle walk to raise money and awareness for Save the Children charity. All the children were invited to come to nursery in their wellington boots and splash in muddy puddles and also create an amazing piece of art as well, with their feet and boots. As you can see the children had a great time. The Preschool children have been learning what letters are in their name and matching them with the peddles. The toddlers have also been looking at the shape of letters and using our new alphabet wall in the garden. They have been using their fine motor skills and their fingers to follow the shape of the letters. With the wonderful weather that we have been having recently, the children have had the opportunity to look at the insects that visit us in the garden. They particularly liked the dragonfly they caught with the bug magnifiers.
